This is a really interesting article about Empaths and empathy, sensitivities.

They go into studying the brain under MRI while testing the experiences of what one person perceives vs what they are receiving energetically from someone else to try to understand how much emotional and ego/history driven bias comes into play.

The results are pretty interesting. And they get into even more than that. It's a little bit nerdy and they don't explain some of the big words because this is a medical website that assumes you know stuff. Nevertheless, it explains a lot about how this works and the issues that arisve for people who are Empaths and the changes that need to be made in the world to better understand what goes on with us.
